The Lead Pastor of The Citizens Church of All Nations, recommends followers not only to rely on miracles, but should work in order to sustain their livelihood, as the Bible says that if any would not work, neither should they eat(2 Thessalonians 3:10).
The Church’s Headquarters are based in Abuja-Nigeria, but it has branches in Rwanda and all across Africa, United States of America(USA) and United Kingdom(UK).
In a press conference held on October 11, 2024 at Kigali, Pastor Peter Beloguu
emphasized that people should work with all their strength to feed their families, while praying for God to bless their efforts.

The Nigerian national Pastor comes in Rwanda as his Church holds a two-day conference in Kigali, to reflects in accordance with Rwanda’s President, Paul Kagame, who blamed gospel preachers for misguiding citizens for their own interests.
The Conference began on Friday evening, aimed at bringing people back to Jesus Christ and discussing how to turn their talent into productivity.
Pastor Beloguu highlights that those who only believe in miracles without taking action, will not be sustained by them. Instead, people should wake up and work for their families.
“Scriptures tell us that if you do not work, you will not eat. God does not replace work with miracles. Miracles come through hard work, but if you see no results, ask help from God”, Pastor Beloguu says.
“If you believe in miracles without doing anything, they will not pay for the house, you need to work on to survive.”
He added that miracles do not pay for children’s schooling, and reminded that when God created a man, He placed him in Eden and made him responsible for everything that was in the Nature.
Reflecting on his contribution to the wellbeing of citizens, Pastor Beloguu explained that the church has many organs in charge of teaching them different vocations.
He further stated, “Through the teachings we provide, we focus on how to empower people, teaching individuals how to fish for themselves rather than waiting for others to fish for them.”
During an annual thanksgiving prayer session that held on September 15, 2024, President of the Republic of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, made remarkable blames on some gospel preachers who misguid citizens for their own financial interests, urging people to be vigilant.
President Kagame also exclaimed that some preachers may lie to people, saying that they have forseen, and ask them to climb trees, keeping in mind that more they rise up in sky, the more closer are to God.”
The Citizens Church Kigali Worship Center shading lights on misguided preachings, is located in Kanombe, Kicukiro District.
